Purpose
Designed to build participant confidence in providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and performing the important steps of a rapid patient assessment in a pre-hospital and hospital setting. Airway Management and Oxygen Therapy modules can be added as additional certifications to this course.
Prerequisites None
Audience In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals. Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.

Timeline
Average course length is 4 hours without the optional add-ons, but may go longer in order to confirm knowledge and skills. With add-on modules, course length will come to 6 hours.
Completion Criteria
Candidates will be required to demonstrate all required skills and complete a multiple choice exam in order to be granted a certification.
