Prerequisites

All individuals are welcome to participate in this course. No prior experience is required.


Audience

Open to all individuals of all abilities. Course is designed to provide basic lay-rescuer training for community and home emergencies. This course covers CPR for adults, if you require CPR training for children and/or infants, please register for CPR-C.

If participants wish to use these skills in the workplace, participants are required to register for a WorkSafeBC approved course, or its equivalent. Although the same content is taught in first aid courses, this course is only focused on CPR and skills surrounding these emergencies.

Timeline

Average course length is 4 hours, but may go longer in order to confirm knowledge and skills.

Recertification
